Damtie

Damtie is an event-driven automation engine for connecting different sources to different destinations. Instead of building a separate service for every integration, sources and destinations connect through reusable adapters.

Problem / Context

Building a separate automation service for every source and destination creates repeated integration and state-management work.

What I Built

An event-driven automation engine built around the model Any source → Damtie → any destination. Adapters allow flows such as Telegram to Telegram, Telegram to Discord, RSS to Telegram, Webhook to Slack, GitHub to Discord, and database to HTTP API to share the same processing core.

Key Challenges

• Keeping source and destination integrations behind a consistent adapter boundary
• Representing events and delivery state across different services
• Making new connections possible without creating another standalone automation service
